TRH01: Tour Details

$380 USD / Pax

Day 1

  • Choose and get a briefing on your selected E-Mountain bike at our office in town.
  • Leave with the E-Bike the center off Luang Prabang heading Ban Xieng Lek, the center
    for handy crafts.
  • Let your tour guide introduce you to several traditional handy craft activities.
  • Leave Ban Xieng Lek heading to the “Chateau Orientale Resort”.
  • Enjoy lunch in the colonial style decorated “Chateau Oriental Restaurant”.
  • Leave for a stunning 2 hour loop with your E-bike.
  • Visit a traditional Khmu Village and get introduction of rice planting activities.
  • Arrive and relax at the Tad Sae Waterfall.
  • Get a briefing for our Kayaks or SUP Paddle-boards.
  • Paddle downstream the most beautiful part of the Nam Khan River to the “Chateau Orientale Resort”.
  • Get an introduction on elephant facts & behavior before you get in contact with our “Elephant team”.
  • Meet, brush and enjoy your time with our elephants on the Nam Khan river bank.
  • On late afternoon send your elephant back to the jungle to his overnight area.
  • Dinner & overnight in the “Chateau Orientale Resort”.

Day 2

  • After breakfast pick up your elephant from the “night time area” and brush him to complete his early morning-bath.
  • Visit the Nam Dong Nature park.
  • Dinner & Overnight at the “Hillside Resort”.

Day 3

  • After breakfast leave with your E-Bikes back to town.

As you are aware, the rate of Covid-19 infection remains low in Laos and the lockdown has been lifted last Monday, allowing most businesses to resume their normal activities.

Feel safe and secure at Chateau Orientale

We have used this lockdown period to step up precautionary measures throughout our policies and procedures and to implement a comprehensive staff training to make sure that our guests and team members can continue to feel safe and secure at Chateau Orientale. 

Our new working practices are based on WHO’s recommendations, as well as government policies, in particular directives 142 and 143 of May 3rd, 2020.
